I put a huge order in for items not in my store and today I’m sharing my 2023 NSALE denim review. Every year I try a ton of denim during the sale and then decide which pairs I’ll keep. Lots are sold out but things restock! So thought I would share every style I tried in case you can score any of these pairs on your wishlist! For all my 2023 NSALE posts head to this page.
LEVI’S RIBCAGE DENIM (WEARING 26) | Sale $65.99 (After sale $98) – KEEPING! Top pick in my 2023 NSALE denim review! Every year I grab a pair of Levi’s during the sale. You can’t beat the price and the quality. I don’t think I’ve gotten rid of a pair of Levi’s. They literally just keep going. This pair is a true denim with zero stretch. Super high rise and not overly long (see right photo). I’ll end up cutting mine to look like the center photo. As for sizing, I am wearing one size up here (26). I contemplated going up 2 sizes but they did lose their shape. 100% go up at least 1 size in this style.
ZELLA REVERSE SEAMED TOP (WEARING SMALL) | Sale $39.99 (After sale $59) – It’s just ok. I do love the reverse stitching and the thumb holes, but the fabric is tad clingy and more a workout material. It’s a hot seller though. Think the olive green is still well stocked.

TOPSHOP STRAIGHT LEG JEANS (WEARING 26) | Sale $54.99 (After sale $82)- POTENTIALLY KEEPING! They didn’t even make my wishlist but I stumbled on them and had to try. Straight leg is my all time favorite style and these did not disappoint. No stretch, high rise and on par with Levi’s quality. I will have to cut them if I keep them. Go up at least 1 size in these.

HUDSON RAW HEM HIGH WAISTED WIDE LEG JEANS (WEARING 26) | Sale $129.99 (After sale $195) – KEEPING! Another top pick in my 2023 NSALE denim review! I haven’t tried a pair of Hudson in ages but holy cow are THESE GOOD! And that savings is killer. These are a darker wash but so much nicer in person than the stock photo. Super soft denim, high waisted, amazing stretch and nice raw hem. A great work to weekend denim here that you’ll love all fall and winter.
BLANC NOIR HOODED BLAZER (WEARING SMALL) | Sale $124.99 (After sale $189 –OLDIE BUT GOODIE! I got this hooded blazer during the NSALE years ago and it still ranks as one of my favorites. It’s back again this year with just a few slight variations. This year’s version doesn’t have the faux leather sleeves and the back emblem is just tad smaller. It has the attached hood though and the same stretch fabric. Also comes in a white this year.
VINYL ICONS TEE (Wearing small) | Sale $22.99 (After sale $29.99) – BOUGHT! Actually loved it way more in person. Online it didn’t jump at me but in person I thought it was so much better. Nice vintage wash and oversized fit. If it’s sold out see this tee here and here for similar options.

They are sold out but if you can snag them I say 100% scoop them up. Perfect amount of high rise, awesome step hem that we don’t see as often these days (I always love a step hem), petite friendly and soft stretch denim!
BDG URBAN OUTFITTERS BRENDON SHIRT (Wearing xs) | Sale $39.99 (After sale $59) – BOUGHT! I knew even before this 2023 NSALE try on that I would be getting this top. 3 years in a row I got this style from this brand during the NSALE. They are velvety soft, oversized and they sell out every single year!

FRAME FLARE CROP HEM JEANS (WEARING 26) | Sale $158.99 (After sale $250) – I mean the sale price compared to the after sale price is amazing. If you love FRAME jeans then you know that’s a great deal. I personally am not keeping these just because I love some other styles better. These are cute tough. Love the flare crop hem, great stretch and perfect high rise cut. Took pics with both sneakers and mules so you can compare.

You can score some amazing savings on Rails during the NSALE! This button down is so drapey, light enough to wear now but will look great layered in the fall and winter.

MOTHER FRAYED HIGH WAISTED FLARE JEANS (WEARING 26) | Sale $169.99 – People always go nuts for Mother during the NSALE! This pair sold out but for restock purposes I’ll review them. They have crazy good stretch but definitely a tighter fit through the thighs. The bottoms are super long (I had to tuck under) and have a raw hem. Also have a nice comfy high rise waist. I decided to pass on these only because I like some of the other styles in my 2023 NSALE denim review better.

JOE’S MID RISE ANKLE CIGARETTE JEANS (Wearing 26 but need 25) | Sale $99.99 (After sale $188) – Looking for a classic skinny jean with no distressing then this is a good option. Also a mid rise style if you aren’t a fan of high rise. They have really good stretch and the bottoms are not raw (I had to cut mine). I would say stay TTS in this pair. The 26 felt tad too big on me.
ALLSAINTS BALFERN LEATHER JACKET (WEARING US 6) | Sale $349.99 (After sale $569) – This was my splurge during last year’s NSALE and 100% worth it. I wear this moto constantly and it’s one I’ll have for years and years. It’s a true leather and so soft. They brought it back again this year but only in a white. The white is a beautiful shade though and a nice option if you already have a black moto. Sizing wise you definitley want to size up 1 to 2 sizes in this one. JOE’S JEANS (Wearing 26) | Sale $139.99 (After sale $218) – BOUGHT! These were a pleasant surprise! Saw the wash in store and had to try. Instantly fell in love. Super high rise, soft stretchy denim and love that wide leg. I don’t even think I’ll cut them shorter. Kinda love this long length especially with the P448 sneakers.
CASLON PLAID BUTTON UP SHIRT (Wearing xs) | Sale $44.99 (After sale $69) – Oh girls! This button down is so good! Colors are awesome and it’s a great longer length! Amazing fabric too.

AG EX BOYFRIEND JEANS (Wearing 25) | Sale $156.99 (After sale $235) – Ugh! Really wanted to love these jeans but I just don’t think AG works for my body type. I try them every year and they are never a perfect fit. If I’m gonna buy premium denim the fit has to be a 10 out of a 10. The denim is soft, nice straight leg fit and awesome wash. They are more mid rise and on me they gapped in the back waist a bit. I couldn’t size down, however, because the upper legs on me felt tad tight. People LOVE AG though so if this one of you go to brands I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
THREAD & SUPPLY PLAID BOYFRIEND SHIRT (Wearing small) | Sale $39.99 (After sale $59) – Almost bought this top but decided on the other one I just showed you. Love this color combo and the purple palette it also comes in. Super soft and relaxed fit.

2023 NSALE BEAUTY PURCHASES
MAC LIPSTICK TRIO | Sale $29
I did add in 2 beauty exclusives when I placed this recent NSALE order. This kit by MAC is a must! 3 great fall colors all in the mini sizes which I prefer. I get tired of lipsticks so the smaller ones are my preference. The one color is tad light but the other 2 are amazing. There is a new shade of Velvet Teddy (old fav of mine) called Vintage Velvet Teddy (middle color) and it’s the perfect neutral! The darker bottom is beautiful for fall.
MAC LIP KIT (Shade Pink)| Sale $30
Also grabbed this set by Mac. This one includes a full size lipstick and liner with 2 options: pink or neutral. The pink is shown here and just a pretty year round neutral.
And there you have it. My 2023 NSALE denim review! I think there might be one more straggler in transit to me along with one other pair of shoes. At the end of the week I’ll make my final decision which pairs to keep but hopefully this post helped you decide which denim to try out. Remember things restock. By the end of this week and definitley next week you’ll start to see returns being restocked. Some of my all time favorite NSALE pieces in my closet were scooped up during restocks.
