Got myself up to my Nordstrom at Menlo Park on Tuesday and got a jumpstart shopping this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! My 2023 NSALE try on consists of a few solid outfits that you can wear now and through the fall. My store didn’t have most of my denim or shoe picks from my wishlist. Had my mini shopping partner with me, her Ipad fully charged and we got to work. Summer has been to this sale with me for at least 5 years now haha! I really tried to focus on things that I know I’ll wear a ton and skipped buying pieces I won’t wear on repeat. After shopping this sale for 10+ years and covering it on HOLB for 6 years I think my mindset has really changed and I’m better at scouting what the best buys are! Didn’t love the boots this year. Just nothing new and exciting in my opinion. I did pull 2 styles to try on that I think are classics that you’ll wear for years and years. Blondo is a great brand for comfort and being waterproof. These didn’t fail at all. Great boot!

AG EX BOYFRIEND JEANS (Wearing 25) | Sale $156.99 (After sale $235) – Ugh! Really wanted to love these jeans but I just don’t think AG works for my body type. I try them every year and they are never a perfect fit. If I’m gonna buy premium denim the fit has to be a 10 out of a 10. The denim is soft, nice straight leg fit and awesome wash. They are more mid rise and on me they gapped in the back waist a bit. I couldn’t size down, however, because the upper legs on me felt tad tight. People LOVE AG though so if this one of you go to brands I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

QUAY AUSTRALIA CAT EYE SUNGLASSES | Sale $42.99 (After sale $65) – BOUGHT! Final item in my 2023 NSALE try on! I had every intention of buying another pair of Quay aviators. However, this pair did surprise me! I usually only wear aviators, but the cat eye style on this pair won me over!
