Missed a blog post last week. Ended up being a somewhat hectic week and had to move some content around. BUT I’m back today and have a great lineup for the week. Starting the week off with my September favorites from Express. A new pair of MUST HAVE denim and 3 tops that are all completely different styles. Let’s talk about the denim. For those that see my Trending 5 in stories and the LTK app everyday then these should look familiar. I’ve been linking them a ton and I was so happy to finally style them. Girls. THEY ARE SO GOOD!
This style is the super high rise mom jean. They have such a soft denim material and slight stretch. The hem is already cut when you get them but I did take another smidge off the bottom because you know — short girl problems. I went with a 0 and they are fitted in the waist which I prefer and roomy through the leg. For good denim that doesn’t break the bank this is probably the best pair I’ve gotten in a long time. I also think Express denim is buy 1, get 1 50% off right now.
This sweater is easily my top pick in my September favorites from Express. Oh my gosh how I love this piece. You can dress this one up or down. The material is a silky cotton but very thick. Balloon sleeves and banded bottom that you can front tuck or wear out. It literally tucks in and puffs so nicely if you love the tucked look. Wearing a size small as I prefer my sweaters to be a tad more roomy.
So this is literally the perfect shirt to wear now. Great early fall piece! I was actually on the fence on this one as the description says scuba material and I’m usually not a fan of scuba. It definitely was a win though.
To me the material is more a silky almost suede-ish feel to it. It’s nice and lightweight and comes in a few pretty fall colors. The hemline makes it perfect to pair with high waisted jeans. As for sizing, I went up to a small just for length. So if you want it more fitted I’d size down.
Final piece in my September favorites from Express is this sweater bodysuit. Yup it’s sweater material! Perfect for fall and winter. The sweetheart neckline sold me on this one. It has a snap closure and the straps are not adjustable so keep that in mind for sizing. I went down to an XS which I’m glad about as the sweater material is very roomy. Take this exact look and toss a moto jacket on and you are ready for date night!
