I’ve got a touch of fall fashion along with some wear now pieces in my July favorites from Express for ya. Gotta tell ya — there’s some really good finds this month. Date night, casual and even office wear is mixed in. I’ll be sharing a try on in stories and if you missed last month’s Express favs you can see them here.

OUTFIT 1
I guess I’m starting to get the itch for fall fashion (not ready to let go of summer weather yet tough) because I’m starting to add gray and black denim to my closet. I have 2 great pairs of denim to show you in my July favorites from Express.
This pair is a high rise mom fit and has a chewed hemline that actually worked on petites. I didn’t have to cut them for once! I love this washed out charcoal color too.
As for the top, it’s my top pick in my July favorites from Express. Love love! I can never resist a good one shoulder top. This one can be dressed up or down and comes in a couple color options.
As for the heels — they are totally out of my comfort zone haha. Rare and I mean rare is it that you see me sport a stiletto heel around here but every so often you gotta wear them for the sake of an outfit. This pair is a gorgeous suede and this color is great for summer, fall and spring.

So I had to try the flex fit jeans from Express as they are their newest line and all the rage. They fit 3 sizes in 1 pair so there’s less guess work with figuring out your size. For example, 0, 2 and 4 are all size small. They have amazing stretch (more like a jegging fit) and mold nicely to the body.
And this top I’ve shown a ton in my trending 5 and it’s made top sellers a couple weeks. Had to try it for myself and ladies it’s good! Nice jersey slub material and asymmetrical so it hangs off the shoulder perfectly.

Definitely feeling the fall transition with this little outfit. This shade of orange rust just gets me in that fall state of mind. Warning — this sweatshirt had huge shoulder pads that I actually cut out and I liked it so much more. The bottom is also banded so I folded it under twice to get this ruching effect which I think looks great with high rise denim.

Final piece in my July favorites from Express is this shift dress. Showing you it as a blank canvas but this is actually not how I would wear it. It has a double lining so it’s not see through. However, I don’t feel the length is that flattering for petites. It also runs huge. I’m in an XS but needed an XXS. BUT (stay with me)…
Styled like this above — I now LOVE the dress! Here’s the thing. When you are petite shift dresses can often give you no shape and make you look stumpy. Easy fix is to tie a chambray, flannel or jacket around your waist. I personally love it with the jacket and high tops for a sporty look. The shoulder pads don’t even look as big now to me. Definitely a versatile dress that you can dress up or down. Just absolutely go down 2 sizes in it.
