Almost 90 degrees in NJ this weekend! HELLO EARLY SUMMER! In case you are sitting poolside like me and doing some shopping I got my May Evereve wardrobe capsule for ya. Think by now our capsules are pretty complete so for this month I’m just adding in some additional options and alternatives from the previous months. I’ll have my monthly try on in stories today that I recorded this week when I stopped into Evereve at American Dream mall. Also be sure to catch April’s post here if you missed it!

KEY PIECE: LONGER LENGTH DENIM SHORTS

So looking at my closet I realize I got a lot of denim shorts this season. Expect to see a blog post dedicated to the different styles in the upcoming weeks. Last month I styled a shorter pair of Agolde Parker shorts which are my absolute favorite. BUT the longer denim style is also a HUGE trend this coming summer. Kinda like a boyfriend short but a little bit more slim.

I had previously tried the Agolde Parker short in the long length but personally didn’t love them on me. This month I tried the Agole Riley shorts and it was pure love once I put these on. No surprise as you have seen me style 2 pairs of Agolde Riley jeans these past few months. These are just the shorts version. Perfect for athletic builds as they are nice and relaxed through the thigh area. This pair is super, super flattering. Wearing my true 25 in them.

And in case you want to compare the Agolde Parker shorts to the Agolde Riley shorts you can see the comparison above. The first photo is the Parker which is a shorter length. I’m wearing a 24 in those. The second photo is the Riley that I’m styling in today’s post. You can see they are a longer style and more relaxed. Wearing a 25 in those.
KEY PIECE: NEONS FOR SUMMER

We all know short sleeve sweatshirts are a big trend but also trending for summer are bright neons and this one sold me. This ZSupply short sleeve sweatshirt is the cutest and softest thing ever. Raw hem line with a touch of terry cloth underneath and can be worn on shoulder or slouched off. The back also has a slight open cross detail which makes it fun and sporty.

This little $42 tank is one of my favorites in my May Evereve wardrobe capsule. Adore the henley style and classic stripes. This is just such a staple that will mix with so many pieces in your wardrobe.

And of course a good graphic tank is always a good idea. Grabbed this one on clearance too. Sized down to an XS in this one.

Another great option is the trending muscle tank. This one has just the slightest bit of padding in the shoulder. It was tough to leave this one behind.

I have been showing a good amount of premium denim in my Evereve wardrobe capsules these past few months. Think all have been Agolde so thought it would be good to introduce another brand for those wanting to see other brands. I don’t think I have gotten a pair of 7 for all Mankind jeans in quite a few years. This pair is amazing. High rise, button fly, great stretch and relaxed fit. They had a raw hem but I did cut mine to be a tad shorter. Love how easy breezy this pair feels.

This one came home with me because honestly it’s a piece I’ll wear for years. It’s one of those perfect summer sweatshirts. Raw hem, terry cloth interior and just so darn comfy. Another by ZSupply that I adore.

While I didn’t bring the skirt home I had to include it in my May Evereve Wardrobe capsule. I have shown you a few different cotton skirts this past month but this one has been on my radar for like ever. Evereve brings this style back every year and for good reason. The fit is perfect. Great length, comfortable fit, has pockets and just goes with everything. Such a good alternative to wearing shorts. Might end up grabbing this next month.

Closing out my May Evereve wardrobe capsule with a must have bonus look. This tank dress is uh-mazing ladies! Tank dresses are either too short, too long or too thin. This one is a homerun though. Super soft, nice thickness and love the length. You can wear this alone or layer with a beautiful kimono over it. I also love that it’s loose around the mid section making it comfortable and flattering.
