When I do these hauls there are always a few items I get that don’t make it to the blog because they fall short. BUT lately every single item I order from American Eagle has been a keeper and exceed my expectations. I have 6 new pieces in my January American Eagle haul this month and it’s A) all on sale and B) all so good! See my try on in stories later today. TURTLENECK SWEATSHIRT (WEARING XS) | JEANS | SNEAKERS (similar)
If you follow my trending 5 then you’ve seen this one several times over the past few months. I finally ordered it and honestly didn’t expect to love it this much. I thought the turtleneck would be much thicker and it’s totally not. Super light slouchy neck and I love the lived in feel of this sweatshirt. Raw hemline just adds to that lived in look. Runs big. Size down 1/2 size in this one.
SHERPA PULLOVER (WEARING XS) | JEANS | SNEAKERS (similar)
The chocolate brown is what sold me on this sherpa pullover. LOVE this color so much. And just like any sherpa should be — it’s crazy cozy. Pockets, slightly longer back and love that button neck detail. Lots of color choices in this one too.
SWEATER (WEARING SMALL) | LEGGINGS (WEARING XS SHORT) | SOCKS | BOOTS
One of my favorite sweaters in my January American Eagle haul! Not that I needed anymore leopard in my closet but this one is a good one! Silky, love the draping and legging friendly.

Let’s start off with the leggings. Another top pick in my January American Eagle haul. We all have and love the black ones shown with the leopard sweater so figured it was time to try out another pair. This pair has a side pocket, fleece lined and high rise. Love them for working out or styled with an outfit. Tons of colors but love this heathered gray. Another reason I love AE leggings — they come in lengths!
As for the sweater — just a great basic. Perfect high low hem for wearing with leggings. Definitely one of those sweaters that you’ll appreciate more in person than in photos.

Final piece in my January American Eagle haul. Free People dupe alert! This henley reminds me so much of a Free People piece at a fraction of the cost. Nice drapey fit, thumb holes and great for layering in winter and wearing alone in spring. Runs big. Go down 1/2 size.
