It’s been a jam packed weekend! Summer had her dance recital yesterday. Think it was around 6 dances which meant 6 costume changes. So proud of her! As for fashion, sharing my June finds from Express. Lots of basics this month but honestly — what’s a wardrobe without some basics?! If you missed last month’s post you can see it here. Let’s talk flare jeans. Not usually a fan of them being petite but they are a big time trend right now. I call these the mini flare. Not overkill but still on trend.
Love the side slit on them and they have great stretch. Of course they are showing sold out but I’ll be looking for restocks. In the meantime, I’ll link a similar style here.
One of my fav June finds from Express is this top. Great basic top but love the easy linen material. Super lightweight. Runs big. I’m wearing an XS. Comes in a ton of colors. And the belt! Swooning. Great stretch and perfect for summer.
Have a thing for maxi skirts and chambrays lately. This maxi is another great basic. Easy to dress up or down. Has a drawstring waist and loving that high low hem. Currently on sale for $30!

And you all know how I love me a chambray top! This one has a slight acid wash to it which I love — keyword being slight! I don’t normally love acid wash (too 80s) but this one has just the right amount. Amazingly soft and has great structure to it! Wearing a size small.
And just to give you one more look at the chambray top without it being tied up.
Ok can’t lie. This simple tee is absolutely one of my favorites in my June Express finds. Not all plain tees are created equally. The slub styles (tees and tanks) from Express always fit amazing. They use such soft cotton and literally go with everything! Size down in them as they run big.
So yes, lots of basics in my June Express finds. Nothing wrong with basics though. Add a belt or some accessories and you add a lil something extra!
