So on Tuesday we covered makeup favs from the Sephora sale in this post. AND today I’m sharing all my hair favorites from the Sephora sale. Also be sure to head to my IG stories today for a hair tutorial on how I curl my hair using all the products in this post!
SHOP THE POST:
In regards to my hair, most of you know that I have hair extensions. It’s been almost 3 months and ladies — best decision I made. I truly LOVE them, but I definitely had to amp up what products I use to protect my hair. I should’ve been using all the products I’m going to be mentioning even with my natural hair. Also check out this post to read more about my hair extensions and don’t forget you can save $300 off installation when you mention me at booking with Nicole. I know a bunch of you have already set your post hair extension appointments with Nicole!
1 | T3MICRO TRIO WAND – I’ve pretty much tried every curling iron and wand out there but this still is the one I always go back to. Is it an investment? Yes. Is it worth it? YES! I’ve gotten no damage from using my T3 wand and the curls last soooo long! With the trio you get 3 different sized barrels. I currently use the largest barrel on my hair for the bigger, looser waves you usually see on me.
2 | T3 HAIR DRYER – Another investment I made years ago was the T3 hair dryer. Same as above. It’s an investment but so worth it. Dries my hair with volume, no damage and I feel it dries it rather quickly. I’ve gotten PR boxes with other dryers and this one still is the one I end up going back to.
3 | R+CO DRY SHAMPOO – The next 2 are dry shampoos that I swear by. Neither are available from Sephora but I linked for easy shopping. This one is middle of the road price wise but gives great volume. R+CO has a loyal following and I can see why. Great, great products!
4 | SGX DRY SHAMPOO – Looking for a good dry shampoo at drugstore prices? This one is one of my favorite discoveries from 2019. Another one with crazy good volume.
5 | ORIBE RUN THROUGH DETANGLING PRIMER – Next 2 products are my go to leave in conditioners. I wash 2-3 days a week using shampoo and conditioner but I always follow up with a high quality leave in conditioner especially having extensions. Being the hair isn’t connected to my head I have to give extra nutrients to my hair. This is 1 product I will 100% splurge on. This one by Oribe has heat protection (I will also use an additional heat protectant spray) and adds so much shine. If you haven’t tried Oribe yet this is a great one to try to get you on the Oribe fan train. Not available at Sephora but I linked at Bluemercury.
6 | OUAI LEAVE IN CONDITIONER – This is another great leave in conditioner. Slightly less expensive than Oribe but just as good.
7 | MOROCCANOIL PERFECT DEFENSE – Hands down one of my hair favorites from the Sephora sale. I added 3 bottles to my cart because it’s my absolute fav heat protectant. Doesn’t weigh my hair down at all.
8 | LIVING PROOF DRY VOLUME BLAST – Do you all remember me talking about this one before? Absolutely another one of my hair favorites. A quick squirt and you get insane volume. I spray at my roots and under my curls for huge volume.
9 | MOROCCANOIL DRY TEXTURE SPRAY – And after I finish curling I’ll use this spray to add some grit and texture to my spray. Love the one by Oribe but this one is as good and a bit more reasonable.
10 | MOROCCAOIL INTENSE HYDRATING MASK – Clearly I use a lot of Moroccanoil. I find them to be middle of the road price wise but have really, really good and effective products. Shampoos I honestly rotate for colored treated hair but conditioner I use a super thick one to really deep condition. I use this one from my ends to about half way up my head. Never on my scalp. I leave on for about 3-5 minutes and rinse.
I wanted to do a hair curling tutorial in this post but honestly it’s too hard to capture in photos and explain. So again it’ll be in my IG stories today and I’ll save it to my highlights for you to reference later.
