AFFORDABLE FALL FAVORITES FROM EXPRESS

It’s with a heavy heart that I write this post. My beloved maltese Benjamin passed away suddenly this weekend. I am planning a tribute post for him this week but I had this post under a deadline so putting out affordable fall favorites from Express for you today.

Their denim fits amazing and can be dressed up or down and there’s always a ton of styles to choose from. And while they have great pieces for a night out on the town I am more drawn to their basics.

So many fall favorites from Express right now and all are so affordable. I’ve always said that flannels are my jam because you can wear them alone, layer them, dress them down or dress them up. This flannel comes in a ton of colors and is that classic soft flannel material.

While I love flannels with denim I think they look so great worn with skirts tucked in or tied up but add faux leather leggings and the look is so edgy yet fun. These vegan leggings are one of my absolute fall favorites from Express. High rise fit and super thick so they are crazy warm.

Last of my fall favorites from Express are always their hats. I swear every year they have the best fitting pom pom hats! I have a ton of these hat styles but no red. This hat comes in other colors too. Their hats usually sell out by the start of winter so act quickly on this one. Their scaves too! See this post for 2 great scarves from Express.

And cannot close this post out without a nod to these boots. I gotta admit I have UGG boots in my closet that are a good 10 years old. I just replace the insoles every few years. You can find my insoles here. BUT these boots are new for this year and it was instant love when I saw them. Wedge heel, sherpa lining and feel nothing like a wedge. These are going to go FAST and the sales person said by the holidays he suspects they will be hard to score. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Thank you for all the sweet messages some of you have sent me about my Benny. My heart is hurting so badly right now but I know in time my tears will dry and I’ll be left with only the happy memories we had together for 13 beautiful years.
