CUTE SUMMER PANTS UNDER $40

I wasn’t planning to give these pants their own blog post but honestly after styling them they deserved a post all of their own! These cute summer pants for under $40 are such a statement piece!

Right around this time of the summer I start getting bored with my summer wardrobe. I’ve worn my denim shorts a million times. I’m pretty much over the excitement of sundresses. And I’m starting to get excited for fall but it’s still 90 degrees out so I can’t break out the fall gear yet.

Enter these cute summer pants for the perfect closet pick me up. Bell bottoms and wide legged pants are going to be a HUGE trend come fall. While it’s not my favorite trend being short and all I still can’t resist jumping on any trend train.

I personally feel wide legged pants and bell bottoms often make petites look stumpy but these summer pants are totally petite friendly. Maybe it’s the almost ruffle detail that breaks up the pants or the light material. Regardless I am wearing flats in these and don’t feel short and stumpy at all.

Rule of thumb when wearing wide legged pants — wear something tighter on top to balance off the flowier bottom. I wore a bodysuit but any top tucked in will give the same effect.

There’s only a handful left of these summer pants and priced under $40 from Chicwish they are sure to go. For size reference I’m wearing the smallest size.
