It’s officially summer! AMEN to my favorite season of the year. Summer fashion is obviously all about light fabrics but to me summer should be the easiest season to style. With calendars packed to the brim with activities you should have pieces that can be easily styled quickly. The best way to beat the heat and fast styling? Dresses! One piece of clothing and you are done. These 5 summer dresses will have you prepared for parties, BBQS and everything in between!

1 | THE EYELET DRESS
I’ve loved eyelet for as long as I can remember. Always so classic, feminine and obviously lightweight.
The options for summer dresses are endless but eyelet can easily be dressed up or dressed down. To me eyelet is the perfect option for any shower you might be going to.
This yellow eyelet dress is just darling ladies! Flutter sleeves, sweetheart neckline and love that midi length! When I shot these photos with Bhavita from Bhavita Photography 2 people stopped me to say how much they loved this dress. It’s simple but makes such a statement! By the way to see more of Bhavita’s work check out this post from last week.
Also comes in white and pink and is reasonably priced at $62! Only a handful left so don’t delay on this one!

2 | THE MAXI DRESS
I’m sure I’ve mentioned before but some of my favorite summer dresses are always maxi style. Style hack: wear them to the office with a blazer or cardigan worn over. Probably the most versatile of the summer dresses because they look great with flats, heels and wedges.

3 | THE SUNDRESS
Ok no closet is complete without a good old sundress or two. Anything goes with the classic sundress. Again they are work friendly with blazers or cardis worn over, can be worn alone for whatever you are doing and they serve as great beach and pool coverups.

4| THE TANK DRESS
Summer dresses are all about ease and comfort right? The tank dress is similar to the maxi dress but being it’s tank style you may feel a tad more polished when wearing one. Add a bralette underneath to give a layering effect, add a denim jacket for a casual date night and change the look by tying up the bottom or wearing them long.

5| THE BOHO DRESS
Break out the boho vibes. It’s summertime! Think flowy details, tassels and fringe. You don’t have to be going to any festivals to enjoy the boho trend. Throw on some flip flops and slides and add a boho dress for quick summer dressing!

And there you have it. The 5 summer dresses you need to get you through the next couple of months. No more coming off the beach, making last minute dinner plans and stressing over what to wear. Add one of these dresses and get your margarita on!
