Happy Sunday friends! Had such a great weekend and just want to say thank you to all my family, friends, followers and fellow bloggers who came out to my J.Crew event on Saturday! It was a great day and I loved shopping with you all. Your support means the absolute world to me! Ok last Sunday of the month so you know what that means — Shopping Cart Sunday! I wore this outfit to my J.Crew event and there are quite a few favorites from this look I just have to share!
I cannot even tell you how many people complimented these earrings. They really are a statement piece. When thinking what to wear I wanted to stay classic as J.Crew is all very classic and modern so I opted for a blazer but wanted to add some fun accessories to add my own twist to the look. THESE EARRINGS! So gorgeous. They come in a few different color combos but really — they just sparkle!
When adding accessories to a simple look I will always add statement jewels but a belt with a pop of color goes such a long way. FOR YEARS I have been buying my belts and earrings at J.Crew. They have styles that will stay in, they last and they are all so versatile.
I got a knee length denim skirt last year but have been on the hunt for a mini denim skirt that would still be age appropriate. This one is perfect. Not too short and fits so good. I sized up in this one and am wearing a size 27. Skirt seen in above J.Crew photo.
I think I featured these in another Shopping Cart Sunday post but in gray. Clearly I just need to pull the trigger on these shoes already because I keep adding them to my cart. LOVE LOVE LOVE the brown!
The circle straw bag is back again this year. I have to break mine back out for the season. This one is adorable and under $25!
So everyone in blog land scooped up last year’s version of this bralette, but this year’s version is SO MUCH better in my opinion. Love those big flowers on this. You need this one. Perfect to wear with OTS tops and dresses, tops that hang too low and just the perfect little bralette to wear when you want a little pop to peak out!
ABERCROMBIE STRIPED ONE PIECE SWIMSUIT
So I think this is the year I’m officially retiring my bikinis. There just comes a time when I think a 1 piece is more age appropriate. BUT I also don’t want some frumpy 1 piece either. I tried this one on in store and it shows a little skin while still being mom friendly.

Ok so the boyfriend jean, mom jean, tomgirl jean– whatever you call them that I featured last month sold out FAST. I just bought these and they fit just like the others. LOVE THEM and they are FULLY STOCKED! I ordered a 2 short. PS…the Free People bralette is shown in this pic too.
I love a good peplum and this one is calling my name. Added to cart!
I’m all about headbands and bows right now. I’ve actually always been but this year they are trending big time. I just ordered a ton of these to add to ponytails and to tie around topknots. American Eagle has a great selection of hair accessories and always really affordable!
