To the sweet follower that I saw in Target on Sunday — you have inspired this post. This blog is obviously a place for me to share my fashion finds but I often have so many thoughts that run through my head that I don’t share, but part of my resolution for 2019 is to start sharing them with you all more often. Part of it will be as a personal release, a way for me to share the girl under the clothes but also as a way to give life reminders. Today’s life reminder is to embrace your natural self.
So I have to be totally honest. I’ve been feeling totally uninspired blog wise since the holidays ended. I think a lot of influencers go through this rut this time of year. Erik watches a lot of YouTubers and he says they have been putting less content out the past few weeks. I think most people are offline during the holidays (which they should be) so views are down during this time. I also think we run such a gauntlet to get all all our holiday content out that once it’s finished it’s like ok now what? We have months of cold weather ahead of us, most people feel shopped out but yet we go into the new year wanting to do something new and exciting.
Are we getting back into the swing of things or waiting till next week? This short week has got me all sorts of thrown off but I’m definitely craving a routine again. Now that we have nothing but months of cold weather ahead of us we should at least up our cold weather game. Hopefully these recent winter fashion favorites will get you through the winter.
