This might be one of my last posts covering the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. All my orders have come in and I sorted through what I decided to keep and return but this oufit ranks as one of my favs. This nsale outfit is giving me so much fall inspo! Not that I’m rushing the summer at all but fall fashion is EVERYTHING and I’m not gonna lie — getting pretty excited for booties, flannels and scarves!
My top and shoes are both fully stocked and I’m not lying when I tell you that you NEED these pieces in your closet.
I bought this top on day 1 of the sale and it’s perfect to wear now and right into fall. Looks cute tied or worn down and comes in 2 different plaid prints. Love the longer back for wearing with tighter pants. For only $35.90 you cannot go wrong with this top. I’m wearing a size small for reference.
The material is not flannel but rather a light almost linen type material which will make it a great top layered under cardigans and vests in the fall.
Ok the boots. Hello HOT booties. So these are seriously gorgeous. Vince Camuto never fails to put out a beautiful, wearable (meaning comfy) shoe that makes a statement. These come in 4 colors and they run true to size. I’m honestly shocked they are still even in stock.
Absolutely love these styled with anything and everything. Jeans, dresses, skirts, leggings. They will honestly elevate any outfit. They are higher than my everyday bootie but still crazy comfortable. Let’s face it we can’t wear low booties with everything. This is the perfect shoe for when you want to dress up your look just a tad.

The week is here that we say goodbye to Summer’s daycare. She has been there since 5 months old and now she’s moving on to elementary school. She’s never had a summer off so I thought it would be nice to give her the month of August to be home, but this Tuesday will be so emotional as we say goodbye to friends and teachers who have become our second family. I will have a full blog post out later this week dedicated to all my daycare mamas. Stay tuned for that. In the meantime, please send me boxes of Kleenex. I’m going to need them.
