Last day of April! So excited that May is here. We have so much going this month and the blog is setting up for such a busy month! I am going to be sharing one of my favorite places to shop for athleisure wear and fitness clothes in today’s post. I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for when shopping in this department and quality is so important when buying work out clothes.

noun
-
casual, comfortable clothing designed to be suitable both for exercise and everyday wear.
Nowadays we are able to wear “workout” pants, fitted pullover sweatshirts, and joggers that can serve double duty. Wear these items to the gym or wear them for causal outings. I mean I wear my joggers for both date night and to run errands with Summer. You can see how I dressed up my joggers in this post.
You all know by now that I workout like a maniac 6 days a week. While I have a home gym and don’t see anyone when I workout, other than Summer who tortures me in the connecting playroom or Erik coming down to ask me what I want for dinner, I still do high impact cardio sessions that require me to wear high quality workout clothes. I sweat a lot and need support. I used to buy inexpensive workout clothes at Marshalls but find they don’t hold up.

Athleisure is such a trending term in fashionland these days. I feel like the debut of leggings about 10 years ago really set the tone for athleisure. Women wanted to have comfortable clothes to wear but not look sloppy and messy in sweatpants. The legging changed all of that.
