Happy Friday friends! So glad it’s the weekend. We have such a busy May so this weekend will be a laid back one with nothing big on the agenda! I have outfit number 3 in the budget friendly outfit series today. This is the final look from this series. I showed you two other looks this week that were on trend and easy on the wallet. You can see outfit number 1 here and outfit number 2 here in case you missed it. Today’s look is much more laid back and casual.
Old Navy and their pants ladies. So good! Still shocked how well I’ve done there this year finding pants that fit petites, are reasonable and has a huge selection of all styles. These chambray utility pants are perfect with flat sandals on the weekends.
Drawstring pants always give that laid back vibe that I love in the summer. These are actually a cropped style pant but clearly not cropped on me. So keep in that in mind if you are taller they will have a more cropped look than shown on me.

Being these pants are not form fitting I would personally style them with a fitted top such as a tank tucked in, but if you want something looser add a tee and tie it up to give you some proportion.
So obsessed with yellows, mustards and golds especially when you have a tan. This tee is insanely soft and just one of those must have tees for your closet.

Staying true to my style you know I had to jazz this look up a bit and add a sun hat. If you love straw hats I dedicated an entire post to them here.

Closing this post out with my recommendation for the must have flat sandal for summer. LOVE these!! You gotta have a good flat for when you don’t want to wear a wedge or heel and these are comfy, stylish and come in a few colors. Love me a good saddle or tan flat for the warmer months. These are selling like hotcakes so don’t delay. Definitely the “it” flat of the season!

Budget friendly is a good idea. I have never had good luck with old navy in my case they do not stand up to the wear. I also have to try on everything I buy because I have trouble with fit. Dillards is the only store where I live that has decent clothes. I have had some luck with target.
I agree. It’s hit or miss but if u can things it’s great for fill ins. Def love old navy pants this year. Perfect fit when you don’t want to spend a ton.
