While we had a tease of spring weather for 2 days this week it’s now back to cold and rain. It is only February. Have to remind myself of that. So a few weeks ago I mentioned that I discovered the goodness of Old Navy Rockstar jeans. I saw a few blogger friends rave about them and figured I would try. Holy cow. Rockstars — where have you been all my life?! So inexpensive, so many different styles and they fit great!

I got 2 different styles. The first are the Mid-Rise Rockstar Jeans that I’m wearing here and I also got them in white which are in Monday’s post. At first I wanted the short length but they didn’t have them in store or online in size 2 with that length. So I went with the regular length and they were actually fine. You can cuff them if you need to but if you don’t they are not obnoxiously bunchy at the ankle.
The other pair I bought were the Mid-Rise Secret Soft Rockstar Jean. These fit more like a jegging. Very tight throughout the leg but sooo soft! Definitely less of a jean feel compared to the first pair. Same deal with the length. I went with regular because short was not available and they were not too long on my 5’2 frame.

Will these Old Navy Rockstar jeans last for years? Probably not, but I gave up wearing designer jeans many years ago and prefer to get a few new pairs every season so I can wear different styles, washes and trends. These rank right up there with my favorite pairs from AE and Nordstrom. And honestly the quality for the price? Pretty damn good.
I had bought this cardigan from Goodnight Macaroon along with the sweater from Monday’s post. I ordered this one thinking the color was more lilac but it’s a soft gray but so soft and pretty. The quality is the same as the sweater from Monday’s post. Just like a handmade sweater. Such good quality! It comes in a couple of colors too. It’s currently ON SALE for 30% off! Major progress on the bathroom. We are nearing the end of the project. Actually, Erik is nearing the end. I’d say maybe 2 weeks left of tying up all the small details. His work has blown me away. It is looking so good! Can’t wait to do a bathroom reveal!

Some cute sweaters and cardigans- but being oversized I can see myself getting my sleeves in my meal – perhaps a post on how to launder your picks and keeping them looking their best
The sleeves are big but they don’t fall over my wrist thankfully! I will def recommend how I launder. I keep it pretty simple with washing on delicate and laying flat to dry. I try not to buy things that are dry clean only b/c I hate the cleaners!
