I wore this romper to one of my favorite restaurants of the entire trip. Sufi was within the Punta Mita complex and had the most dreamy bridge and views. It honestly looked like a dream when you walked out there. I literally thought the end of the bridge was going to bring me to heaven. It was that dreamy and ethereal. I bought this romper knowing it would be great for summer or perfect for holiday parties if paired with boots and a moto jacket. Probably one of my favorite outfits of the trip and the kicker is it’s under $25. Can I get an Amen?! You would never know when you look at it up close. It’s just beautiful.

So we’ve been back a week and I’m still dreaming about our trip to Mexico. It was everything we wanted and more! This trip was planned for a long time. We honeymooned in Maui and since have taken some amazing trips but we wanted our 10 year anniversary trip to be something extra special. We always said at our 10 year we would do something big! So we planned early and booked our trip to Four Seasons Anguilla. We were counting down the days and then the Caribbean sadly got slammed by several hurricanes cancelling our trip to Anguilla just a month prior to our departure.
Airfare skyrocketed, resorts elsewhere were filling up and we were stressing about where to go now that we had to start from scratch. Our amazing travel agent helped us change our plans and we came up with Punta Mita, Mexico. The only downfall was how far it was to get there. We had a layover going there and back and the resort was a good 45 minute drive from the airport and with airfare being so expensive we extended the trip an extra night because of the distance. I will say if you go there from the east coast do stay at least 6 nights because it’s a bit of a hike. It took us 13 hours to get home, but honestly it was worth the trek.
We stayed at the Four Seasons Punta Mita. Four Seasons in my opinion is the best of the best. We stayed at the one in Maui for our honeymoon and we were eager to stay at another one. This one lived up to the Four Seasons standard. The service was topnotch in every way. The staff knew our names by the 2nd day. The service at the pool, gym, restaurants, and spa was so personal. Loved that they brought you your own cooler of waters at the pool or beach. So many special touches.
Punta Mita is very quiet and removed from the busy areas of Mexico. The town is it’s own compound and extremely safe. We ventured out 3 nights to dinner into town and every restaurant was unbelievable. Amazing service and some of the best food we’ve ever eaten.
Erik and I don’t do much sightseeing when we travel so I can’t comment on that but we did snorkel off the resort, I got a massage and we worked out every morning. The rest of our days were spent at the most gorgeous infinity pool and beach. You won’t find aqua blue water here and white sandy beaches, but it reminded me of old, quaint Mexico. Beautiful rocks in the ocean and mountains all around the landscape.
This trip wouldn’t have been possible without the attention to detail by our travel agent, Kyle Seltzer. Luckily for me I have known Kyle since he was born but I know that didn’t play a part in this trip because I can only imagine that the service he gave us is the same he gives to all his clients. I have booked other trips with Kyle and each time he out does the last trip.
