Well it’s gonna happen at some point. Snow, rain, slush. I know I’m getting ahead of myself here with all this record breaking warm autumn we’ve been having, BUT it’s inevitable. Winter will be here before we know it. For years I would wear ugly snow boots in the bad weather and bring a change of shoes to work, but once I got these cute booties last year I no longer had to bring that change of shoes.
These Sperry boots are made for the snow and rain. They are waterproof and have a great grip so you don’t go slipping. The added wedge makes them so much more stylish than your average snow boot. They also come in black and olive. My mom has the black and I love them on her!
You could totally wear these to work (depending on your job), to run errands, on fall outings, etc. They aren’t your average snow boot at all. I wore them for a day to the park this weekend when I knew we would be out in the fields and they were perfect.
Speaking of cold weather necessities I’m a big fan of the faux fur vest (well faux fur anything really). This one is old but I’m linking some similar ones.
Ā I love these worn over plaid shirts, over a dress, tunics, pretty much anything. It’s the easiest way to add some interest to an outfit and an instant pop of fall or winter. The day I wore this it was pretty mild out but I wanted to have that fall feeling while out in the fields. This was perfect layered over my favorite tee.
