It’s pretty obvious you all know how much I love Nordstrom. Free shipping and free returns all the time. Hands down the BEST customer service ever. The best designers from high end to brands that are budget friendly on the wallet. Out of all the retailers I shop this one is definitely my absolute favorite. All the pieces in today’s outfit are from Nordstrom (except the bag and earrings). I love that they carry brands that you don’t see everywhere else either. I discover so many great fashion brands that are in my price range at Nordstrom’s.
One of them is Love By Design. I found this brand during the #nsale when I scored that beautiful ivory sweater that you can see in this blog post. This brand is high quality and super affordable. I was so excited when Love By Design recently gifted me a couple of sweaters. This gorgeous burgundy sweater was one of them and it just became available to purchase at Nordstrom. I love the on trend braided neckline and the high low cut. It comes in a bunch of colors and it’s super warm. For size reference I’m wearing a small but size up if you want a baggier fit.
These boots are making their debut and all I can say is I’m in love! They were a bit of a splurge but I love the column heel and that they come up a little higher over the ankle. Most of my booties are cut pretty low so I love that these change it up a bit. They are insanely comfortable too. Sam Edelman always makes high quality and comfortable shoes. So many color options on these too and I just checked and saw all sizes are available.
As for these jeans? My new fav brand for skinny jeans. SP Black is another Nordie brand that I discovered during the #nsale and I love how they fit. Their jeans are high rise, super slimming through the leg making them so flattering. And the price is too good. $55. Can’t beat it. At 5’2 they are long so I have to roll them but they look cute rolled and they are slim enough to tuck into jeans without the bunching effect. Run true to size. I’m in a 26 for size reference.
I want to take a moment to wish my Mama a Happy Birthday. I truly have a mother who is my best friend, the most beautiful role model, and has a heart of gold. She is the light in my everyday that guides me through everything. I know Summer and I will have this same bond one day because I’m raising her as my Mom raised me.
My life is so much more beautiful because I get to share every triumph, every disappointment, every smile and every tear with my Mother by my side. Can’t wait to take her to see Ray LaMontagne in concert tonight. We have the most fun together and I know this will be another memory we will hold onto forever. I love you Mommy. Happy Birthday!
