So this is it. Labor Day weekend is upon us. While summer doesn’t end for another good month, Labor Day always makes me feel that the official summer season is over. So for those of who had summers off I hope you enjoy this last week of “summer.” School mode will be in full effect come a week from now.
How many of you will be celebrating with BBQs this weekend? I know we are because hot dogs and hamburgers just don’t taste as good once September comes (or maybe we are all just sick of them by now LOL). Anyway, those late summer fiestas are always a little bit chilly once the sun goes down. Come to think about it this past weekend was unseasonably cool at the Jersey Shore. We didn’t even hit 80 degrees! We still parked ourselves on the beach all weekend because we are soaking up every beach day we can, but I have a feeling these cooler temps are here to stay.
This outfit is perfect for end of summer cooler days and nights. I scored this lightweight ivory cardigan for $23. Comes in other colors that I’m tempted to get.
I’ve been wearing this tank weekly since I got it. Looks cute styled alone or under cardigans. Can easily be worn under winter sweaters also. You’ll get a ton of use out of this one.
And the mules. LOVE! Can’t stop wearing these babies. Since last week’s blog post I’ve worn them almost daily! Not kidding.
I finally got a new necklace to switch off from the chevron one you have seen me wear a million times. This one is also by Madewell and I love it. I’m a sucker for 2 things:

We have a short week at my house. Last of our summer vacation time!
