My little Benjamin Angelo turns 11 today. I don’t even know how that is possible. Where does time go?! Our Bubby (as Summer nicknamed him) is a lover, space cadet, nut and mush all mixed into one. He is picky with who he likes but if he likes you then he really likes you! He sleeps on my head every night (yes my dogs sleep in my bed and I wouldn’t dream of having it any other way) and when I come home he literally throws himself at me with excitement. Those bear paws and big eyes melt me daily. So Benny today is your day! Happy Birthday my lil love!
I am so torn right now. Part of me can’t wait until fall because I absolutely LOVE boot season. However, the other part of me doesn’t want to let go of flip flops and sandals anytime soon. September you get that in between though. You need a change but aren’t quite ready to pack up the sandals and put booties on. Enter the mule. These shoes are a great transition shoe for end of summer through early fall. It took me a bit to jump on board with this trend. I’m so funny sometimes. I’ll see a new trend and hate it. I tell myself no way in heck will I ever wear that. Then I convert and I kick myself for waiting so long. I did this with cold shoulder and OTS tops. Crazy because that’s all I wear now! Well same thing happened with the mule. I went from hating to loving them.
I’ve seen so many different patterns and colors in mules. Love the tan on these but they also come in the prettiest powder blue. They look cute with shorts and jeans too!
A classic plaid scarf never fails to get me into fall prep mode. I got this one during the #nsale and it wasn’t restocked but I found some great plaid scarf options that I linked below.
