Our little firecracker turned 5 years old this past weekend! People always say time flies especially when you have kids and boy are they right. Sleepless nights, army crawling, first steps, babbling words, bribing with M&Ms to potty on her own, the big girl bed. Every stage has been a blessing. We only have one child so each milestone is extra sweet for us for these are the only times we will go through it. These past 5 years we have watched this little girl blossom into a shy, reserved girl into one who takes over a room when she walks in. I watch at how poised, polite and engaging she is with all that meet her even complete strangers in the grocery store. Our little Summer is really something so special. Every rule was broken when she was made. Tiny but fierce. Sassy but sweet. What a gift!

SUMMER TO FALL TRANSITION OUTFIT
Cannot believe we are fast approaching the middle of August. While I love planning Summer’s party (her party planning begins in early June) I always get a little sad when it comes because it signals the end of our favorite season. August always flies by and by the end of August I find myself getting ready to retire some of my summer clothes and easing into fall pieces. This outfit is an easy transition outfit.

You know those tops that you literally get miles out of? They can be worn alone, layered under jackets, sweaters, and vests. You can wear it in winter, spring, summer and fall. Yup this is that top and the best part? It’s currently on sale for $15. Love the swingy movement of this top and all the color options it comes in. This one needs to get in your closet! For reference I am wearing a size 4 in the top.

#bloggingprobs Ok I have good news and I have bad news.
The BAD news: The day we shot this outfit this kimono was fully stocked! Of course as I am writing this blog post it is now sold out. UGH! I am so sorry! One of my biggest challenges with blogging is timing. I order things and then by the time I am able to shoot them and get the blog post done some of the things are no longer available. Working full time, being a mom and wife and blogging is a lot! I LOVE everything about it but I apologize for when this happens. I’m starting to strategize differently so hopefully I’ll get posts up sooner and more often.
