This is hands down my most favorite time of the year. While I love the season of summer the most I just enjoy everything about the holidays. It wasn’t always like that though. Like most families we have had happy as well as sad holidays. I have found that creating new traditions can make the holidays easier and give a fresh outlook on them if you have the Christmas blues. Today I’m sharing the latest holiday style with Evereve and talking about how to #holidayyourway.

I lost my Dad and stepbrother both at Christmas many years ago which made the holidays especially hard but creating new traditions helped us get through upcoming holidays. Whether it’s going out to dinner rather than hosting, wrapping up gift cards rather than stressing over shopping for gifts or staying home in pajamas and forgoing all the holiday parties that is all ok. You can make new traditions while keeping your loved ones close in heart and mind and still enjoy the holidays as our loved ones would have wanted us to do.

Then there’s the pressure of having the perfect outfits for all the parties, work events and holiday get togethers. Don’t let finding the perfect outfit spoil your holiday fun. #holidayyourway by wearing what you feel good in. Pattern mixing adds instant chic and once you do it I promise you will always work pattern mixing into your wardrobe. Leopard shoes and a classic plaid blazer made for one of my favorite outfits of the season. I honestly look at leopard as a neutral. They add such a fun pop to an outfit but literally match anything you are wearing.

This blazer is one of those pieces I will have for the next 10 years. Tailored beautifully and so classic it goes with everything from these red Spanx leggings right to distressed denim.

And if you find yourself wanting to be cozy at your holiday parties then throw on this sherpa pullover with an amazing pair of Spanx camo leggings. Mixing these two creates a comfy, cozy yet uber chic look.

I have been eyeing this pullover up for awhile. SO soft and that leather detail on the front? It’s just stunning! This pullover looks great styled over plaid tunics too.
