OUTFIT IDEAS FOR MEXICO: AVARA X CABO

I’m back home in NJ after spending a perfect few days in Cabo with a brand that is near and dear to my heart. I along with 9 other content creators went to help launch the Avara Resort Collection and it was dreamy! Going to recap this amazing trip and give you a ton of outfit ideas for Mexico or any spring or summer travel plans you may have. If you follow me on IG then you are probably familar with Avara as I work their pieces into my wardrobe quite a bit. Think vibrant prints, colorful designs and super feminine yet wearable pieces catering to women over 40. I always think of them as the happy brand. You can’t wear their pieces and not feel happy. Tons of dresses, whimsical tops and some great basics. Whenever someone asks me a for a dress recommendation I always send them options from Avara.

This trip was absolutely a career highlight for me. I have been following some of these women since before I started HOLB in 2017. To be working beside them now was really a full circle moment for me. Truly such an honor to be asked to go and work with some of the best women in my line of work.

Gosh this orange is just perfection! The tie shoulders, smocking on the chest and flowy light fabric is perfection on this one.

Love this as one of our outfit ideas for Mexico BUT if anyone is going to Greece I feel like this would be a must have. Everyone went crazy when I shared this in my stories. Gorgeous in photos but even prettier in person. That blue is a showstopper. Also the bag has a chain strap making it into a crossbody option. And you know we love crossbody bags around here!

One of the most popular dresses on the trip. Think everyone was styling this tropical number. Talk about a wow dress. Silky, flowy and the most vibrant colors.

Even prettier in person girls. This print and this blue is another I just love. Straps are adjustable and the smocking on the top makes it so effortless and comfortable to wear.

Another one of my personal favorites from these outfit ideas for Mexico. Always love a strapless dress option. This one has a great length making it easy to sport with flat sandals causally or wear with a wedge or small block heel and dress it up. Has a side zipper so you don’t have to worry about it falling down.

How could I not style a maxi skirt? Always one of my favorite things to wear on vacation. This one has a double lining and easy to style a ton of different ways. BTW that crochet tank was one of my favorite tops from the trip.

Another piece that would also be perfect for a trip to Greece. Totally a mom friendly romper in the prettiest fabric. Also those wedges might be high but holy cow are they comfy. They went so nicely with all the dresses in this collection too.

If you are going to Cabo this time of year (it’s chilly at night) you’ll want to include at least 1 pair of pants when coming up with outfit ideas for Mexico. These steamed out in a jiffy and are beach chic! Also that denim jacket has a broken in lived in feeling and the cutest puff sleeves.

And maybe pack these Risen jeans. I did cut the hem and had to size up 1 in these but the light wash and stretch is awesome! As for the top – what a statement piece and so quintessential Avara. Love everything about it.

Not the best photo but these Kut From The Kloth jeans in the ecru color are a must for spring and summer. Crazy good stretch on these.

Gotta have a couple pairs of shorts when planning outfit ideas for Mexico. This pair is definitely a favorite. Super light and can be worn with outfits or over bathing suits. And there’s that crochet tank again. Love love that top!

I put these denim shorts in a reel while I was away and bunch of you scooped them up. They look and feel designer. Nice light weight and they have stretch. Also the back is a tad longer than the front making them super mom friendly. With my code they come to around $48! And that top is a best seller from Avara that they brought back this year. Gorgeous silky fabric.

And a moment for the shoes to go with all of your outfit ideas for Mexico. The shoes in this collection are just dynamite. All run true to size, all are comfy and all are so affordable. The gold bow sandals sold out once already but are back in stock. Definitely the “it” sandal of the trip.
