Must be this polar vortex that has me dreaming about all things spring! I posted a winter to spring look in this blog post on Tuesday and now I’m already breaking out spring type shoes. Yes we are all still bundled up but it’s not a bad time to incorporate spring booties. The spring booties you need now are these western inspired ones perfect for wearing now and through the spring.
Ironic I’m mentioning the word spring when the polar vortex is upon the majority of us. Let’s stay positive though friends. Spring will eventually be here and right around now is a good time to start adding early spring outfits you can wear now. Sure we can buy winter clearance pieces but we can also add in some things that will soften your winter look.
First blog post for my new shopping cart Sunday series. The last Sunday of every month I’m rounding up all the items that I have added to my cart over the month. Some I bought and some just caught my eye. Part of my job (ok a big part of my job) is to shop to have content, find sales that you might want to jump on and round up all the new trending items. Shopping cart Sunday is the perfect way to bring you a roundup of all those items! Items will range from clothes, accessories, home goods, food — basically anything that caught my eye that month!
Guess you can say I’m feeling the love this year because I have been adding so much heart inspired pieces to my closet. Hearts are cute all year long but they obviously make a great choice for February. Today I have 2 cute Valentine’s Day sweaters from Chicwish that you are going to want to scoop up stat!
So this is it. Last birthday of my 30s. My favorite decade yet. One full of self growth, figuring out who I am and defining my role as a mother. I plan to make this last year of my 30s amazing. I remember turning 30 and thinking wow this is significant and I’m going to look at turning 40 the same way. BUT we aren’t there quite yet so cheers to celebrating 39 and leaving a special mark on this past decade.
